Can I also ask if they have contact numbers like landlines or hotlines of some sort?
Here is their website:
http://www.deped.gov.ph/
You should be able to use it to find out whatever info you need or at least another source you can use to find out more. Here is another URL to a page on the same website:
http://www.deped.gov.ph/factsandfigures/default.asp
It goes to their Facts and Figures area.
It also says that you can contact them at the following:
Department of Education
DepEd Complex, Meralco Ave., Pasig City Telephone Number: (032) 632-1361 to 71
For anymore info from that site, you can also use the "Search" tool that they have provided for its visitors located on the upper left hand portion of the screen.
I wish you luck…
take care…

I am a banker in India. I will be relocating to Riyadh since my husband is currently employed in Riyadh . Since i do not have any prior experience in teaching would it be possible for me to get a teaching job since it is very difficult for expat women to get any other jobs apart from teaching.
You will have to check with the authorities in Riyadh. I live in the US and each state has their own requirements for teachers so it is hard to say whether or not they will. Call a school in there and ask for information as well.
Ok, I need a middle school guy to answer this. What do you guys notice in a girl, what are specific reasons you would have a crush on a girl, and what makes you want to ask a girl out? I just want to know.
Smiling, happy + gd looks girls + sweet voice makes boys go crazy. then maybe wear some clothes tt show ur legs and part of arms, i’ll like tt lol. gd grades r a plus they’ll get hard-ons and keep looking at u, and turn away when u look at them. and when they’re beside u, they’ll appear nervous(very obvious) and smile/laugh uncontrollably
I need the rankings/ratings of the quality of programs for special education. I’m doing a film project that involves the average and above average special education programs in Canada and the US. Is there an organization or official ranking for the quality of the special education in regions or specific schools?
No, I worked in Special Ed. in the US for 21 years, and the only ranking system in the public schools was that of the school whose program the classroom was in.
For example, if a school was ranked as a "School in Need of Improvement", under No Child Left Behind guidelines, then any Special Day classes or Resource Specialist Programs within the school was also, "sort of", included. The classes were run from the central administrative office, but the Special Ed. teachers would feel the same pressures for higher achievement, as the General Ed. teachers & administrator at that school.
Otherwise, there may have been ratings according to the Quality Control analyses by the State Dept. of Education, such as compliance issues regarding paperwork, but no other ratings, as you’d think of; nothing like: Excellent for Children with Autism, or Poor for Teens with Emotional Disturbance…nothing like that.
I live in a dorm so I can’t spend lots of time each day on the computer taking online lessons in our computer lab, there are only three computers and it would be distracting nonetheless. However, we have a piano in our common room which no one ever uses. If I could find good, easy to follow lessons which I could print out, that would be ideal. Also, I’m not a complete beginner so if anyone knows of print out lessons that only review music reading instead of trying to teach it to you from scratch, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
Here is a link to printable sheet music, scales and chords. It does cost money, but the first eight lessons are free. Hopefully some will fall within your skill level.
I am doing a lesson plan for a 7th grade class (it’s and English class, but I am trying to cross it over with current events) where I use Fox News’s Shepard Smith’s show because he does the "Around the World in 80 Seconds" segment, which is a very fast paced way to deliver world news. Then, the students will pick a story (usually there are at least four) and write a pragraph about the topic and what they though about the story, whether it be a stupid criminal story or about Iraq. What do you think? Any susggestions for improvement? I am planning on grading their pragraphs for grammatical errors, etc.
you could make them present it to the class in the role of a news reporter to make it interesting and get the whole class involved, rather than report submission for evaluation.
At this age (7) what are some good lessons to teach to a 2nd grader in social studies? She made a small booklet about George Washington a while back, what are some other things? I need lots of ideas please!
Not sure what type of History is being taught, but here are a few ideas.
Don’t know if this will help or not, but I have really loved History since I was a wee little one. But some good things to start on are things of basic concepts, as well as including aspects such as coloring and other things that a little one may find Interesting.
Do such things such as famous people.
Example: Abe Lincoln would be a good one.
Example: Presidents.
Example: History of Holidays. Not sure of your religion tough but here are some good ideas.
Christmas
Easter
Columbus Day
Valentines Day
Any other holiday should work as well.
Also, things she may be interested in may also get her on a road of liking history. Say she likes Barbies. The history of Barbies may interest her.
Teach her a few things like that.
Also, you can educate her on what other societies in today’s world do and compare it to hers.
Switch it up as well, do coloring, painting, movies, book work, puppet shows as well as fun stuff for a second grader.
Another good idea would be to do references.
Such as The Holocaust.
Example: Two people not getting along cause they where different, but in the end good prevails.
Well, hope this helps.
Good luck teaching!!!
I have a fantage and I’m a non member how do I get a Private school outfit for non members every one has one but me! How do you get them?
there was party, but it passed. sorry.
What are the best elementary schools in Orange county and can a child who lives in Orange county go to a school in Seminole county?I have heard Evans elementary is pretty good on grades but i m not sure if it has any branch in Orange county?
There is an Evans elementary school in orange county, garden grove…..http://www.ggusd.k12.ca.us/evans/
not sure if that’s the same as the one you are referring to but my neighbor’s kids go there and they rave about how wonderful the principal and teachers are!
And yes, a child that lives in orange county can attend a school in seminole county(or any other county) but 1st you need to go to the education/school district(for the city you live in) and request a transfer. They will ask why….you can say it’s closer to your work, grandparents. babysitter, caretakes…or whatever reasons and then you take that transfer paperwork to the school district you want your child to attend and they will process it. But priority will go to the students that live in that school district area…and if there is space at the school you are requesting, they will admit your child. Good luck!
I do not want "ideas" for teaching. I would like to find a site where teachers have posted their lessons plans for the same books as I have. I wanna copy them!
Most lesson plans are available through the publisher and can be downloaded from the publishers website assuming you have your password. You may also request a DVD with lesson plans, test banks, and PowerPoint presentations to go along with your text.
